Jennifer Coleman-Peers

Jennifer has more than 15 years’ experience in the charity sector, having first started out at the NSPCC as a graduate trainee. She worked on the groundbreaking FULL STOP Appeal and went on to head up the Volunteer Board Fundraising team, working with senior volunteers from a wide range of sectors to raise funds and build partnerships.

She joined the Institute of Imagination in 2012, a start-up charity focused on creating space to re-imagine the world. She built their fundraising team, led the development of the iOi brand and has helped to shape the organisation’s culture and policies. She continues to work with the iOi part time as Director of Strategic Initiatives, which sees her leading on a wide range of projects from Trustee recruitment to developing strategic partnerships. She also works with other charities and philanthropists as a Social Impact Consultant.

Jennifer has always been actively engaged with the charity sector; she is a regular speaker at conferences, acts as a mentor and founded and Chaired a Special Interest Group for the Institute of Fundraising focused on Volunteer Board Fundraising. Jennifer believes that Margaret Mead was right when she said that committed citizens can change the world, and she is passionate about creating the right conditions and opportunities for that change to happen.
