So I walked out to my garage this morning, pressed the start button, and absolutely nothing happened. Not even a click. Just complete silence. I’m sitting there thinking, you’ve got to be kidding me, I just had this car serviced a few months ago and everything was supposedly fine. The battery was tested and they said it was holding charge perfectly, but clearly something’s gone wrong between then and now. It’s a 2019 Bentayga, so it’s not exactly ancient, and I’ve babied this car since day one. I’ve been reading through some forums and it seems like these luxury cars can be really finicky when it comes to battery issues, especially with all the electronics they’ve got packed into them. I’m based near the Muwailih area and honestly I’m a bit nervous about taking it to just any garage because I’ve heard stories about people messing up the coding or using the wrong type of battery, and then suddenly you’ve got warning lights popping up everywhere or the start-stop system stops working properly. I know these cars need a specific AGM battery and apparently there’s some procedure to register the new one with the car’s computer so it knows how to charge it correctly. Has anyone here gone through this with a Bentley specifically? I’ve seen some ads for places claiming they do luxury car batteries but I’d rather hear from someone who’s actually used them and had a good experience. I don’t want to risk damaging anything expensive just because I picked the wrong shop. I’m looking for something like exclusive Bentley car battery replacement in Sharjah because I really want to find a specialist who understands these cars and won’t just treat it like any other SUV. I called the dealership and honestly I nearly choked when they gave me the quote, it’s almost double what I was expecting and they said I’d have to leave the car for two days which is ridiculous for a battery change. There must be a reputable independent place that can do this properly without the dealership premium. I’ve checked a few reviews online but they all seem a bit generic and I can’t tell if they’re genuine or just paid promotions. Has anyone got a recommendation for a place that actually knows what they’re doing with Bentleys in Sharjah? Ideally someone who has the right diagnostic equipment and can code the battery properly so I don’t end up with issues down the line. I don’t mind paying a fair price for good work, I just don’t want to get ripped off or end up with a botched job that causes more problems. Also, does anyone know if the battery has to be a specific brand or are there aftermarket options that work just as well? I’ve read conflicting opinions and I’m genuinely confused now. I really appreciate any insights you guys can share, I’m stuck without a car right now and need to get this sorted as soon as possible.
