DSG service on my A3 – anyone done it recently in Khalifa City?
So my 2019 A3 1.8 TFSI with the S-tronic box is sitting at around 65,000 kms and I’ve been reading through the service booklet that recommends a DSG oil change every 60,000 miles which is about 96,000 kms if I’m converting right, but honestly I’ve seen so many conflicting suggestions online that I’m completely confused about when to actually get it done. Some people say you should do it at 40,000 miles, others say 80,000, and the dealer here told me something completely different again so I don’t even know who to believe anymore. The car is still driving beautifully to be fair, no shuddering or hesitation at all, but I’ve got a long road trip planned up to RAK and then over to Fujairah next month and I’m a bit paranoid about something going wrong halfway through because I neglected the maintenance. I live in Khalifa City and I’ve been meaning to find a specialist nearby who actually knows these DSG units inside out rather than just a general workshop that might cut corners.
